Harbour Hotel & Spa Richmond

An elegant Georgian country house, Harbour Hotel Richmond features an award-winning restaurant and free WiFi access. Next to scenic Richmond Park, it is a mile from Richmond Tube Station.

The hotel offers luxuriously furnished rooms with air conditioning in most rooms, tea/coffee making facilities and a TV.
The Gate Kitchen, Bar and Terrace provides fine dining in an elegant, intimate setting.

Harbour Hotel Richmond is a 15-minute drive from Kew Gardens and the the home of English rugby, Twickenham Stadium, is 10 minutes away by car.

For those coming by car, chargeable limited on-site parking is available. Managed by YourParkingSpace, parking is charged at £15 for up to 24 hours and can only be booked and paid for at the time of parking using either the app or cashless parking meter.

Unfortunately, parking spaces cannot be guaranteed or pre-booked. You can enter/exit the car park multiple times throughout the duration of your booking but please be aware we cannot guarantee a space will always remain available.

Chargeable off-site parking is available nearby. If there are no spaces on arrival, please speak to reception who can direct you to nearby car parking.

Guests can relax at the hotel's HarSpa, which includes a indoor swimming pool, a gymnasium, Hydrotherapy pool, Scandinavian hot tubs, steam room and sauna for an additional charge of £10 per person per day. Wonderful

It was our 3rd time staying at the Richmond habour hotel and it was fab as always, the hospitality,spa experience and food!

The only reason I didn’t give it a 10/10 is because I reserved an afternoon tea for £25 per person but when It was time to pay I was told that it was £32 per person due Christmas but this was not stated at the time of reservation.

Excellent facilities and delightful staff

Great position. Good sized room with everything we needed for our overnight stay. Great pool, steam room and jacuzzi. Staff were super helpful, we forgot our charger plug and they got one for us within minutes. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent stay.

Been here twice and I enjoyed every stay. Smells so fresh and clean! The hotel is well decorated. Bed was comfortable. Had a great stay! Will be back again.

Good

The location is great as at the entry to Richmond Park entrance. Rooms are nice, bathrooms very spacious.

Since my last stay here things had changed. Parking was chargeable, in addition you could only pay for the day if you were not coming and going as these were charged separately. The gym had a charge and was not included in the room fee. This was disappointing for me as I like the hotel but will have to look elsewhere next time as these are important to me.

The cost of the breakfast is the same if you have half a bowl of cereals to a full English. Felt a little annoyed to spend £20 on the small amount I ate. Paid to use the spa but unfortunately the hot tub was cold which was the bit I had looked forward too.

Comfortable and enjoyable.

Cozy, luxury feel. Great food and sheets and bedding. Nice staff.

Rooms were too warm and were rather small for the price. Spa facilities also very, very small for the price.

Reception staff give a lovely welcome, the homely feel with a touch of luxury is perfect!

The room was a good size with a lovely comfy bed and to have the option of in room mini bar with snacks there if you wanted them was a bonus! shampoos and hand wash were of a good quality meaning that you would not need to bring anything extra, just your toothbrush! Location is great, easy walk in to Richmond and Twickenham (if you wanted to stroll further). Breakfast was freshly cooked and the staff in the restaurant were friendly.

Spa stuff were not the most helpful and to only have access until midday on day of departure when checkout is 11am does not work if you are only staying for 1 night. We would have liked to use the facilities, and one reason why we chose this hotel, but didn't due to the restrictions.

Great hotel disappointed with price hike

Beautiful hotel in a great area of Richmond and only 10 mins walk from the station. All staff were lovely polite and courteous. Room was spacious and well appointed, we had a suite that over looked the front of the hotel.

The fact that the cost of a room had more than doubled due to the Rugby was very disappointing. We paid £409 for one night and this didn’t even include a breakfast which we were charged £16 extra for. We had lunch and breakfast in the Gate and though the food was lovely the service was extremely slow. At lunch I had almost finished my meal before the condiments requested were brought and had completely finished and was ready to leave when my drink turned up. At breakfast the restaurant was almost empty yet we waited Over half an hour for some mushrooms on toast and an omelette and subsequently missed the train we had wanted to catch

We were on the top floor of main hotel building no water in bathroom 1st thing in am quickly rectified by staff “re booting boiler”

Very special stay in a great facility

Breakfast: Beautiful location for breakfast, very relaxing dining room, great decor. Very good service. Continental buffet selection fairly small but of good quality, particularly the pastries were very fresh. Menu had nice selection of hot food to order. Well cooked scrambled eggs. Room: Lovely decor, amazing huge comfortable bed with luxury bedding, complimentary gin and whisky Bathroom: Practically new, very clean, great shower. Spa: Lovely spa environment, very professional and excellent therapist (Shannon) Personnel: Extremely professional and friendly throughout- a sign of great management overall

I had asked for a note to be left on the bed as this was a surprise for my partner- unfortunately the note was not there on check in, despite having received a confirmation by the hotel. On speaking to reception they were really lovely and apologetic and left the note with some complimentary little cakes later on in the afternoon. The room seemed to be prepared for 1 guest rather than 2 in some respects- one pack on biscuits only in tea tray, limited tea and coffee sachets. 1 little bottle of shampoo only in complimentary toiletries- however on asking reception they were extremely fast with providing 3 more bottles of shampoo. Overall, some things seem to have been missed but were very quickly rectified by reception, in a very professional way.
